Short version: we don't sell your email. We collect what we need to run the site. You can delete it all whenever you want.

What we collect

Account info: name, email, password (hashed).
Preferences: events you save, venues you follow, notification settings.
Form submissions: what you write in contact, suggest, and organizer forms.
Usage: pages you hit, basic device info. Via Google Analytics and PostHog.

What we do with it

Run the site.
Send the newsletter if you opted in.
Send reminders for events you saved.
Answer your questions if you write to us.
Look at aggregate usage to fix what's broken.

We don't sell your email. We don't share data with advertisers. There are no advertisers.

Third parties

Services that process some of your data:

Google Analytics: page views.
PostHog: product analytics.
Mailjet: newsletter and transactional email.
Mapbox: venue maps.
Stripe: payments, if you're an organizer on a paid plan.

Each has their own privacy policy. We picked them because they don't require us to be creepy.

Retention

Account data: while your account is active.
Analytics: standard retention for each provider.
Form submissions: up to 12 months.
Delete your account and we remove everything within 30 days.

Your rights

You can:

See what we have on you.
Fix anything wrong.
Delete your account from your account page.
Unsubscribe from emails any time.

Session cookie: keeps you signed in.
Analytics: Google Analytics and PostHog.
Preferences: remembers your choices.
